We run a monthly SEND Support Network, open to all parents and carers with children attending schools in Hertsmere. Additionally, we host a half-termly SEND Surgery, where families can book a confidential session with one of our SEND school family workers and the Head of DSPL6 to discuss their individual circumstances and explore positive next steps.
Schools within our partnership are also welcome to refer families or students to us for additional support. We can offer:
- tailored mentoring for families or students
- signposting to specialist organisations
- support with drafting and submitting EHCP applications
- personalised, targeted support for families and carers
- transition support for students
- access to our mailing list for up-to-date information and resources
